Citrawinda,a prominent
Intellectual Property Consultant and former chairperson of the
Indonesia Intellectual Property Society (1996 - June 2002), started
her professional career in 1987 at the Biro Oktroi Roosseno firm.
She is the third generation who since 1987 until mid April 2004
managed, organized, expanded, and built up a reputation for Biro
Oktroi Roosseno, a family-based firm.

TODAY'S COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT, intellectual property has become an
economic commodity that plays an important role in both national and
international trade. Intellectual property is now fully recognized
as a valuable individual and company asset; therefore, the
challenges are different and the issues of intellectual property are
more complex. Based on DR. Cita Citrawinda's extensive experience
throughout her years in the field of intellectual property as well
as her full commitment on the international development of
intellectual property to meet the global world challenges, she has
established her own firm and is the founder of LAW
OFFICE CITA CITRAWINDA NOERHADI &
ASSOCIATES.
Cita Citrawinda received a Law degree
from University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia in 1985 and
received a Master of Intellectual Property degree from Franklin
Pierce Law Center, Concord, New Hampshire in 1993, as the first
woman in Indonesia who gained a Master of Intellectual Property
degree and received her PhD degree cum laude in economic law on the
subject of Trade Secret from University of Indonesia, Jakarta,
Indonesia in 1999. She is a lecturer in the Post Graduate and
Doctoral Programs at the University of Indonesia, Jakarta,
Indonesia, and also a guest lecturer at other
universities.She
is a frequent
speaker at numerous seminar, workshop and conferences addressing
intellectual property matters.
Currently she is one of Advisory Members of
Indonesian Association of Intellectual Property Consultant (Asosiasi
Konsultan HKI Indonesia/AKHKI); the President of Association
Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriete Industrielle
(AIPPI) (period of 2009 – 2014) and Trade Secret Committee for
Indonesian Group; Deputy of Academic Development of Indonesian IP
Academy (IIPA); Patent Committee for Indonesian Group of Asian
Patent Attorneys Association (APAA); Member of International
Trademark Association (INTA); and Member of American Intellectual
Property Law Association (AIPLA). She chaired the Indonesian
Intellectual Property Society (IIPS) in 1996 – 2000 and 2000 – June
2001 and was one of Advisory Members of the Indonesian Intellectual
Property Society (IIPS) for period of 2003 – 2006. She was also the
Indonesian Group Country Head of ASEAN Intellectual Property
Association (AIPA) period of 2003 – 2009.
